June Market Updates for Jackson & Madison County

In Jackson and Madison County, we are seeing big signs that point towards a fast-moving market.  First of all, our median price is up both in the city ($175,000, up 21%) and in the county ($173,000, up 19%.)  We are also seeing several homes sold, at 144 in the county (up 2%) and 123 in the city (down 6%.)  We still desperately need more homes in the market, as we are seeing new homes to market down 22% in Jackson at 128 homes, and down 14% in Madison County 146 homes.  Homes are selling just a hair faster than they were last year, with an average of 4o days on the market in Jackson (down 5%) and 39 days on the market in Madison County (down 9%).
